Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet.

On a public cloud services (such as diskspace, bandwith) are shared amongst other users on a server in a datacenter.   This can be done for puposes such as software-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service or infrastructure-as-a-service.

On a virtual private cloud, resources on a public cloud are used to create a platform for only limited people and access, but using the public cloud infrastructure.

On a full private cloud we are using the customers own infrastructure to set up a cloudsolution in one of our partners datacenters, combining the advantages of having access to fully owned hardware and being always online everywhere, anytime.
